Our speaker, Dori Sear, has garnered years of wisdom in her spiritual formation journey that has included experiences as a Bible teacher, author and Director of Spiritual Formation at Southern Gables Church. Dori is a testimony to God’s amazing grace! God truly uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. Her passion and gifting for spiritual formation has emerged out of her intimate relationship with God, one that has developed through many painful and difficult passages of life. Her love for God and vision for spiritual restoration have converged into a ministry that serves to challenge, equip, and encourage the church to transformational change.
After 20 years of a successful marketing career, Dori was called to vocational ministry. Her informal education includes a wide variety of seminars, workshops, and personal mentoring, along with the influence of many historic and contemporary authors. She attended the primary School of Spiritual Direction offered by Larry Crabb, with additional advanced training.
Dori has been on staff of Southern Gables Church in Littleton, Colorado since 1999. She is currently serving as the Director of Spiritual Formation, overseeing Adult Communities, Women’s Ministries, Small Groups and Assimilation. She is also serving in leadership for the Rocky Mountain Spiritual Formation Partners, and is the President and founder of CrossFire, Inc.
Dori has been married to her husband, Mark, for over 30 years. They have one adult son, Justin, who shares their passion for God and desire for vocational ministry.
